A General Dentist With A Gentle Touch!

One of Murray Scholls Family Dental’s best assets is our staff. The knowledge, expertise, and compassion that they display are some of the reasons patients keep coming back. They are truly a team and work together to make our patients comfortable. Most of the staff have worked in the Beaverton dental office for five years or more, so they really get to know the patients.

Rose, Patient Care Coordinator

Rose has been in the dental field for over 15 years, starting as a dental assistant, treatment care coordinator, and eventually into a patient care coordinator. Rose is passionate about helping patients with treatment questions, insurance, and billing. She loves working in the dental field because it gives her the opportunity to bridge the gap between dental care and a person’s overall health. Rose enjoys spending quality time with her family, and you can often find her at the family beach house. She enjoys gardening, cooking, and baking. She loves working with her husband with house projects.

Brooke, Patient Care Coordinator

Brooke has had several years in customer service, but recently transitioned to dental. Her ability to interact with patients and to use these skills to deliver excellent customer service to our patients is invaluable. She can easily relate to people and make them smile and feel instantly at ease. Brooke grew up in the area and has various community ties. She loves spending time with her fiancé and adorable daughter Malia. On the weekends you can find her working at Madewell, jogging the local trails and cooking for her family.

Annette, Patient Care Coordinator

Annette is an experienced dental professional and has been in the field over 20 years. She is an insurance guru and loves dealing with insurance and maximizing insurance benefits for patients. She finds fulfillment in her job when people are happy with the services we provide. Annette loves working at Murray Scholls Family Dental because of the friendly and fun environment. Annette has a big blended family and her favorite thing is to spend time with them. She loves singing along to music, the outdoors, biking, fishing and painting.

Jami, Dental Hygienist

Jami has been one of our outstanding hygienists for over 10 years and has over 22 years experience in the dental field. She is a genuinely caring and gentle professional and loves helping patients improve their dental health. Dental hygiene is her passion, and she finds great satisfaction when her patients’ oral hygiene improves with her education and assistance. Patients love Jami and she enjoys the relationship she is able to continue with them over the years. Jami is an involved mom of three children and enjoys watching them do what they love. Jami went to Honduras with NW Medical Teams and loves scuba diving, water sports and music.

Leah, Dental Hygienist

Leah is very knowledgeable and loves educating patients on ways to achieve optimal oral and overall health. She continually stresses the importance of good home care with patients of all ages. Leah still loves what she does after more than 20 years in the field and is always excited to come to work each day. Leah and her husband Garrick have two grown daughters as well as a school-aged son and daughter. They love staying active with their children and enjoy keeping up with all their activities. Leah enjoys baking, knitting, reading, exercising, and watching the Portland Trailblazers and Oregon Ducks.

Katie, Dental Hygienist

Katie is a talented hygienist who has been in the field since 2008. She loves building relationships and trust with her patients, which helps them feel more comfortable. She can easily relate to patients and shows great empathy and care to every patient. Katie teaches hygiene at PCC and loves sharing her talent with others. Katie is married and has two adorable young children and a Bernedoodle named Brownie. When she has some spare time, Katie loves to read books.

Calli, Dental Hygienist

Calli is a talented and outgoing hygienist and loves helping people feel more confident in themselves through their smile. She is passionate about patient education and making each patient feel comfortable in the dental setting. Calli is a well-rounded hygienist who was previously a dental assistant in a pediatric office. She is in her dream career and is eager to come to work each day. Calli is originally from Oklahoma, and lives with her husband Nathan and cat named Kailua. Calli loves reading, cooking, travelling and anything true crime.

Terri, Dental Hygienist

Terri is an outgoing and experienced hygienist. She graduated from Ferris State University in Michigan where she grew up. She has a genuine compassion about each patient and their individual concerns and needs. Terri loves helping people maintain their health through their smile. She loves that the team at MSFD helps each other out through the day and are always able to make each other laugh. Terri is married and has a daughter, three dogs and two cats. She loves to garden, raise mason bees, crochet, sew and horseback ride.

Cassie, Dental Assistant

Cassie has been in the dental field almost 10 years and primarily works with Dr. Walker. Cassie is a truly talented assistant, and her skills are top-notch. Her sweet and caring personality makes patients feel comfortable and at ease. Cassie loves getting to know her patients and learning their stories. She loves the tight-knit and family atmosphere at MSFD. Cassie is newly engaged and they have a dog named Fleetwood. Cassie is a Minnesota Vikings fan and you can often find her outdoors riding quads.

Lori, Dental Assistant

Lori has been in the dental field over 20 years. She is an exceptional assistant and likes the challenge of general dentistry and the variety of patients and procedures. She loves the connection and trust she has with her patients and giving them the confidence they deserve with their new smiles. Lori loves the family atmosphere at Murray Scholls Family Dental where everyone helps each other out. Lori has been married over 20 years and has two daughters and a new grandson. She loves organizing and cleaning, being on the water, baking and spending time with her fur babies.

Miriam, Dental Assistant

Miriam has been a dental assistant for over five years and is Dr. Maxim’s primary assistant. She loves meeting the patients at the office and seeing them have the smile they’ve been dreaming about. Miriam was born in Mexico and is fluent in Spanish and is a big help to those patients who need an interpreter. She loves how everyone is so kind and friendly at the office. Miriam is an amazing mom to an adorable four-year-old daughter and one-year-old son. If she has any spare time, she enjoys driving for Uber and fishing.

Mary, Office Administrator

Mary has been with the practice since it opened in 2001. She is responsible for making sure things run smoothly in the practice. She handles all the marketing, human resource and financial activities. Mary loves everything about Murray Scholls Family Dental, including the beautiful office, tight-knit staff, and amazing patients. Mary lives in Beaverton with her husband, and they have 3 grown children. In her spare time, now that she is an empty nester, Mary loves to travel, tap dance, participate in group fitness classes, and enjoy all the city and outdoor activities in the area.

Wendy, Patient Care Coordinator

Wendy is the first person to greet you as you walk through the door. She has been in the dental field for five years. She likes helping patients feel welcome and comfortable. Wendy enjoys being part of a team that provides excellent care from start to finish. She thinks that MSFD has great doctors and patients! Wendy was born in Hong Kong and came to the U.S. when she was only 8 years old. Wendy, her husband and all three of her children graduated from OSU. Go Beavers! She has lived in the Beaverton/Tigard area for over 25 years. In her spare time, Wendy likes thrifting at garage and estates sales, baking, exercising, hiking and volunteering at her church.
